A new concept ship... The Esperia Prowler will go on Concept Sale on Friday, November 18th during the Anniversary Livestream for the introductory price of $425. It will have LTI.

According to a tweet from Disco Lando, there will be a pre-stream LAN party being streamed (starting at 8pm) where they will be playing "the game". What game? Well, Lando's tweet said "you have 2.6 guesses but probably only need one"... :roflmao: (so, a play through of patch 2.6 for those of you who didn't quite get the reference! :))
I'll be testing how quickly my gullet will accept copious quantities of real ale tonight, so I'll catch up when I get back home later.
Well, I watched the whole thing and have to say that Star Marine left me rather cold. I was very disappointed if I'm honest. After all the hype about it being slow paced and tactical and nothing like run and gun games like CoD, and them trying to make it unique and better looking than all the other FPS games out there, all I saw (and my eyes are not trained for FPS, so I could be wrong) was a CoD look alike with everyone running and gunning, no tactical play, and character animations no better than CoD either. CIG haters must be having a field day after that demo.
I'd be interested to hear the views of those of you who are into FPS, though.
The Prowler looks cool, but it won't be going into my fleet as it is too specialised in an area that I don't think I'll be operating in.
The new variants are rather cool, but as much of a fanboy as I am for CIG, even I can see that these are blatant cash grabs and could have been released as simple skins (and probably will be at some point).
The big capital ships video did look cool though, and hope they post that up soon to re-watch.
