Title: Get Your Deadmen Email Address

Now that we have finished the server upgrades we would remind you that Bravo Company members can get an @deadmen.co.uk email address.  If you would like one then please send me a PM stating:

1 - Prefered Username (must be your gaming name but with suitable amendments - eg GandalfLoJ rathther than the full blown name).

2 - Your email address to which we will forward all emails for your account.

3 - Your first name & your surname.

Existing members (mainly Charlie Company) with an @deadmen account will need to send me a PM with the same information so that we can restore your old SMTP account.

When you have sent me the details, please don't keep asking me if it has been done, just try to send yourself an email to see if it is set up or not.  I am giving myself a 5 day deadline to complete the work following receipt of your PM, so please give me a chance as I will have a lot to set up again.

There in lies the rub.   Rush, rush, rush, more haste, less speed.

If you read the post carefully you will see that *three* bits of info are required.  Sending me 1 out of the 3 required bits of info will not get you an email address set up.  And for those interested, he sent me the "I'd like doorman@deadmen.co.uk please" info - not his name or where to send the emails once our servers receive them :rolleyes:  

Sheesh!  It's been more than 30 secs since I sent you a PM explaining this and you haven't responded yet.  Can I assume that this means you don't want the email address  :narnar:

It's a great way of sorting your CS related e-mail. All those CS and gaming  newsletters, PM notifications, password retrievals and stuff can all be sorted easily if you use a new shiny deadmen.co.uk address to keep them all sparate from your pron and spam . :)   Get One

It does make things easier. I know for example when I sign up to my interest sites, instead of using a made up address, why not use a real one like, smilodon@deadmen, and for that hairy bear website, try squonk@deadmen etc.

I feel much better in myself knowing I used a real address ;)

Can I *BUMP* this topic as I know that there are quite a few peeps out there who have not yet asked for their @deadmen.co.uk email addie to be set up for them.

This applied to Charlie Company members too!   If you have not asked *me* for your deadmen email address to be set up then you haven't got one!

PM me *all* the details asked for or you will get 'nada'.

And you may want to remove the plain text email address from your post or when it is set up you will get nothing but spam.  And prior to it being set up *I* will get nothing but *your* spam  :angry:
