Just a quick heads up to any of you FSX boys out there, if you have REX 4 and need to remove if it isn't working properly. DON'T i repeat DON'T use steam uninstall if it is in your fsx folder, it will delete all of your FSX folder not just itself.
So i kissed goodbye to 231GB of fsx stuff today that i had installed.
Luckily all the installers are backed up, but its gonna take a few hours to get it all back
If you need to get rid of REX go into the FSX folder and just delete it.
Now to Fill the 250GB SSD up again
Look at it this way Sulks... you are getting your money's worth from your ISP.
I always look for the games dedicated uninstaller, if none, delete the files because you're gonna put it back there anyways so if you miss a few it will just be repaired. If it's still botched after a reinstall that second way, backup time.
What I found was a perfectly workable way to move a game between two drives is just do a simple copy and move then uninstall the game via steam and then reinstall it with the new new drive selected. Steam looks for a previous install and finds the backup fine and it still will have your save games if they're in the steam folders, steam also never seems to remove save games from the USER directory for some reason.
