Title: CQC (Close Quarters Combat)

'Ello

So in Elite we have after clicking start, the option for Arena or CQC as it's commonly known.

This is a 4 vs 4 Team Deathmatch or Capture the Flag Game, or a Deathmatch individual game.

Basically you start off at level 0, with a few ships you can use. With different loadouts. As you progress through the levels, which happens pretty fast, you get other options for ships and their setup. You acquire ranks like the main game up to Champion I believe.

It's based in rather nice arens that you can fly through and also fly into buffs like added shields or damage etc. The speed and pace is not too fast but fast enough that those who can handle their ship can do pretty well. Even if you are new to Elite, this is a good place to test out flight without fear of ending up back in a default Sidey.

There's no risk of you losing a ship or credits, if you fight as a squad rather than as a lone wolf you can really do damage to the other team.

If we get enough people we can try and get a game going with mainly dMw tomorrow.

So we were a tad short of numbers for this but if we manage to get 4 people online then we can make 2 teams of 2 and test the matching. [emoji847]

Cool. I think we can drop on and off anytime on CQC. No set time, I leave early due to being CET as well.
