Title: Spam
Post by: Doorman on January 26, 2004, 08:48:30 AM
If any of you are being inundated with, or if not exactly inundated but irritated by  spam try OSpam. (http://www.0spam.com/index.shtml) I've been for  a while now and it does keep the poo away (Cue Smilo to say "Use something else, it's better") :D

I use Eudora 6 myself that has a built in spam filter that works really well.

I use Thunderbird and that also has a built in spam filter. I seem to remember this being discussed previously on the forum and cloudmark (http://www.cloudmark.com/) being recommended by several people. I tried this and found it to be excellent.

Smilo, where are you?  :D
I prefer to use Outlook Express, hence 3rd party doohickey. I don't doubt that they're all much of a muchness, as long as the filthy spam is defeated eh?

I use Cloudmark - it extracts over 100 spam emails for me every day :)
