Way back in 2013, the Banu Merchantman was the ship that really caught my imagination. It was drop dead gorgeous (and still is). Over past few years lots of ship news has come out along with the dreaded concept artwork. Some of the concept stuff is misleading, others foretells of big changes (like the increase in Idris size that was eventually revealed), however I have to admit that the picture below got my juices flowing. Whether or not it is correct is an entirely different matter!

I still love this ship.
that thing looks beautiful and the whole of dmw might fit on there :)
Never mind the length, feel the beam....... :dribble:
I'm definitely hoping that the calculations are correct and it's not just a case of the concept artist getting carried away.
I stumbled on the image of the Merchantman that forms the basis of this article and it's now sitting pretty as my desktop.

Nice find and use copied too!
Such a fantastic looking ship, can't wait to see it in game.
Still not seen any updates other then CIG saying it won't get worked on in 2018 (not enough resources) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BIJtzjUsf08&feature=youtu.be&t=9m21s
It's not mentioned in the roadmaps, anyone heard anything different?
