I know a few of us now have got vr headsets so i'm gonna run through a few questions etc

1: i'm running low on usb 3 ports with my corsair stuff needing them as well, should i a use my usb 2 ports for my sensor or use a usb c to usb 3 hub?.

games i have at the moment are the standard ones u get with the 399 rift and touch set, also serious sam vr edition, elite dangerous, i think ark can be shown in vr as well.

using my 1080 to run it, can i run 2x 24" monitors and the rift at the same time?

How about a USB 3 hub? https://www.amazon.co.uk/d/USB-Hubs/Anker-PowerIQ-Charging-Ports-iPhone-Samsung-Motorola/B00VE4UJD4/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1500559817&sr=1-1&keywords=anker+10+port+60w+data+hub

Hi Sneaky,

The sensors work perfectly fine with USB2. The headset needs USB3. That's save you on 2 USB3 ports.

You can also use a hub like Sn00ks says but do not put it into the ASMedia USB root hub ports. ASMedia was the hardware that was crashing my PC to a blue screen a while back!

If you ever get a BSOD on boot up after having attached a USB device, try switching of the ASMedia root hub in your BIOS and rebooting. It could save you a reinstall.

When I was short of USB 3.0 ports for my Rift I bought the usb hub (mainly for charging etc... which sits on my desktop) and a PCI USB 3.0 Port which works well.
