Title: Cookers
Post by: Penfold on September 11, 2017, 02:05:09 PM
I don't get it.

I know they snap to water but I've never had this much trouble.

First one went too low so couldn't access so I demolished and built another. I made the pipes go high of the foundation (pic) and snapped to the pipe. It was the only snappable thing nearby but it still says not irrigated. I could hide the fact it's floating using walls so could live with it.

It's bad enough having to demolish and then save again to build another ... once you kinda but down to Ark but three times???

Any thoughts?

I've never used cookers bud, sorry,

But wonder if any of these ideas might help?

You must have selected the 'eye-level grill' engram ...

I think if you turn your graphics settings up from "complete mush" to something in the "slightly legible" domain, you might have a clearer view man... worst case, undo the pipe and go to the water supply after placing the cooker... maybe?

I spawned and deleted it about a dozen times with Chaos running inspectorate but nothing worked so I just killed them and let it spoil (you'll see in the logs).

So I did a little more research and apparently you can't run and industrial cooker from a water well, it does need to be a proper water source.

Oh well such as it is.

I suspect it's because the well is a finite resource.
