However, there is one part that will be of particular interest to dMw and that is Squadrons.
This new feature coming to Elite in 2018 will give us as a group a membership capability in-game. This will come with admin tools and the option to purchase a "Command Carrier" in game. Basically dMw would possess our very own mega-ship.
The game is also adding Wing Missions, which means scaled risk and reward for tasks that can only be accomplished by a co-operative group.
We could well see some or even all these things by March next year.

Good news indeed. We've been bleating on about the lack of this type of game-play for ever.
Arithon, are you sure about the timing of March? I watched Obsidian Ant's video about this and the organizations are not likely until Q4 next year unfortunately. Not sure what is coming before that other than a few new ships.
Maybe he got more out of the devs face-to-face, or is just playing it safe, but Q1 will be the first major content drop according to Frontier's road map.

It also says large groups will be in about a year. I think a lot depends on what comes from now through Q1 2018.
