Hi All,
As some of you are aware, we recently lost control of ZTA (Zeta Trianguli Australis) after a Civil war. We defended admirably, with a good turn out of players to support our cause.
In the aftermath of the war, we were contacted by members of the player groups supporting Felicia Winters of the Federation and it became clear that we're an even smaller fish in an even bigger pond than we could imagine.
dMw have not been aligned to any Power in Elite since the very beginning, and even that was really when gaining reputation and trying to unlock the goodies available after 4 weeks of support. Felicia Winters has been the controlling power in ZTA forever and in order to keep that control a certain number of the systems in a control radius (bubble if you select the system on the galaxy map power play view) around ZTA have to be Federation Corporate controlled (50%+ actually with 2+ or more corp factions). This means there is room for Independent Co-operatives like dMw if we are willing work together.
This presents us with an exciting opportunity to have a bigger cause to fight for, and some new friends to play the game with.
So the agreement:
1) dMw will pledge to Felicia Winters in Power Play - we will assist in fortifying ZTA each Power Play cycle and help defend the ZTA bubble from other Powers who may wish to try to expand.
2) This means we will become allied with the Federal Liberal Command (Winter's in game Power). https://discordapp.com/invite/WGJGyCE and https://inara.cz/wing/727/
3) We will also be able to join in missions to help this new ally.
dMw will be:
1) Supported in retaking control of ZTA and not opposed by FLC and wings allied to FLC
2) Supported in expanding to surrounding systems but not to the extent of impacting the Corporate power levels required by the FLC
We have an inara wing now setup: https://inara.cz/wing/2794/ and any players in dMw can join this wing, just sign up and fill out your details. It's basically a way of saying we are in the game and active, making diplomatic alliances and also it has a cool api to allow CMDRs to add their game status to the web site. We all use this already for engineering and many other Elite related info gathering.

Although I can't explore in game being afk for a while, what I see through these links is pretty cool! To see the long list of factions allied under FLC, for example! Small fish in a big pond indeed :lmfao:
