Title: Rainbow Six Siege
Post by: BrotherTobious on March 15, 2018, 03:22:45 PM
Gents and Ladies

We have been discussing Rainbow Six Siege and Council doesn't feel at the moment it is needed to be an officially supported game. But this is not to say that it cant be, we will be keeping an eye on it and see how it grows and how the community responds to it.

A Rainbow Six Siege channel will be created in the Ad-hoc section of Discord for you all to use.

If you think you need anything else that might help, then please drop a member of the council a pm.

Can I please ask of some of the regulars to this game a question!

How much of an effect do the special abilities of all the different characters play a role in this game?

They each have their advantages/disadvantages.

The can mostly all be countered by another operator.

I like to have a choice to use them as depending on my mood/how the game is going i'll pick an operator accordingly - or if the one I prefer is taken.

Some operatives have better abilities than others but this may well be down to player preference as I know I play some of the operators others don't and vise versa.

It's a bit of a hard question to answer too to be honest Mike as it's quite an open question - I have most of the operators unlocked now and some I've not even used once because I don't feel their ability is worthwhile to use.

As DD said, try some different ones out in the beginning you'll get the feel for some operators above others. It's just a case of playing enough and finding the operators you like. I for one try to switch up attackers, there are a couple I like, for defending I use one roamer and one who can do both and one who's a good at hanging back in the objective.

I'd say very few of the operators have a useless ability. They all are capable in one way or another to sway the round in their favour. Abilities can range from passives such the Operator 'Jäger', who places an anti-grenade device and can leave it to do it's thing while he does whatever. Other operators can destroy reinforced walls and create a new vulnerability for defenders. Literally every operator has it's own unique role and they all effect the game differently!

Early in the game you will be able to get some basic operators but this doesn't mean they are any less useful than the newer ones! Some old operators will almost always get picked other the new ones.
