Title: Spec me a pc
Post by: TheDvEight on July 04, 2018, 06:43:29 PM
Asking for a friend

Their budget is 750£ doesn't need monitors or operating system - would like to stream racing games and football manager. Has a preference for Intel chip but open to AMD - what ever will make my most of his budget really.

Can anyone spec up a build for him, he can build the pc himself so wont need that service.

I've been lazy and headed back to Scan to see what that budget can provide with a custom build.

https://www.scan.co.uk/3xs/shared/ac6d8727-ffd9-4d0d-929e-c67cf3bbd0c8

You could then use pcpartpicker (//uk.pcpartpicker.com) to price up a self-build where any savings could go into a better ???

£750 doesn't buy you much with GPU and RAM prices how they are atm.

Yeah it actually pretty good for the money. I expect it should handle FM18 and any racing games out there quite easily. Handy having both SSD and a decent size HDD, but check if the HDD has a RAM partition so it becomes much faster for running games because 120GB doesn't go far these days once the OS is on there.

I would strongly suggest finding the £37 it costs to upgrade to the 1050Ti over the default 1050.

Otherwise looks ok for the money!
