This game is seriously no longer a complete disaster, it's actually a fairly decent Space Exploration game. For the £15 I paid for it when it was on sale it's actually turned out to be a good buy. It's no Subnautica but still worth a punt.

I recently managed to fix a bunch of mission bugs that were preventing me from progressing in the game, mainly the exocraft mission. So they have actually made the core base missions run smoothly now, just you might have to do a bit of JSON editing to add a missing blueprint or 2 that should have come to you from the in game characters earlier.

I think the update looks very interesting, probably about time to follow the Atlas story fully.

Just wanted to bump this thread with the news of the next massive update to NMS, I know there are plenty of us that enjoyed it, and it seems like it will no longer be restricted to the janky 4 player co-op.

Have a look at what is coming with the BEYOND update here:

It's also bringing full VR support, not just simple control porting which can be read about here:

I think it's great to see the never ending effort these dev's are putting into the game considering its history! :D

The VR trailer is already great and what you get in the game today. Underwater looks awesome.
