With a good amount of people looking to play this game i am going to be running the game twice with two different groups. The groups have been chosen simply on when people can play, I haven't tried to keep friends together or apart just simply when can people play. Each group will be playing on a different day. Here are the two groups:
Tuesday group:
Hollyleaf
Sith
Oldie
Smilo
No peanuts
Tealeaf
Friday group:
Addx9
Hellmate
Sulky
Gortex
Gorion
Liberator
As you can see there will be a group playing on Tuesday and then another is on Friday. I hope these groups are okay for people. I look forward to playing this game with both groups :)

In this module we are going to be looking at using pre-generated characters i know that one of the best bits in this game is that you can make you own adventurer but for people who are new to the game i feel its best to use these characters. It will make it a bit quicker on the set up and it will also let people use a character that is already made so that they can have an idea of how one is made and plays. The characters are:
Human fighter ( Hit hard with a sword or bow )(No Peanuts,Gorion)
Hill Dwarf Cleric ( Healer ) (Sith,Sulky)
Lightfoot Halfling Rogue ( Stealth and long range... also dagger in the back) (Hollyleaf,Hellmate)
High Elf Wizard (Your a wizard ... so magic and all that) (Tealeaf,Addx9)
Human Fighter ( Hits hard with a axe)(Smilodon,Gortex)
Ranger (long range) only for the 6 person team (Oldie,Liberator)
If there is a 6th then i will be adding a ranger to the mix, People can either chose who they want to play as or i will simply assign you a person to play as. I will let people pick just in case some care who they play as.

Tuesdays is good. I'll play anyone as long as it's Vampire Prince Dwarf Beserker with an wild boar animal companion and a +10 to brewing and jewel-crafting. :taz:

Personally I am happy to play what ever and as any character the first time around so we get an idea of how all this will work etc. As you say if we all enjoy it then for a full D&D we will start with our own creations and play in character.
The only thing I would ask as we have two groups is that who ever goes first in the campaign keeps all the details to them selves and don't go talking about it all which might spoil the experience for the second group. Feel free to have conversations with in the group but perhaps share it with everyone once we are all done.
Other than Friday the 7th June I can do any date following.

Awesome we will see what characters are left and then i will give you the character sheet of the person you are playing with a few tips on what you can do in and out of fights.
I agree with this even thought each group will be having a few things different to keep it interesting and to challenge me a bit, i would like for groups to not spoil it for each other. I am going to be looking at asking for discord rooms and role so that we can have an area for group one that everyone else wont be able to see. Same goes for group two. That way any questions a player might ask i can answer and if people want to talk about the session then they can. I have my own discord which i am also happy to use and shouldn't take me long to set it up for both groups.
No worries at all we will look at Friday group starting on the 14th of Friday

Great first session lads ! Was a good laugh and thanks to those who helps with rules and other things. Was a pleasure to learn this game better and play with you lot. Please watch out if you talk to the other groups as both game have been ran different and groups have done different things so watch out for spoilers. Look forward to next Friday!

Hard to get a word in edgewise with you babbling away all the time.
My first time playing but I think I might do allright. I have the full sheet on the extra character now so I'll read up on it for next week, some bits are missing or a little different on the electronic version.

We did wonder if Lib would just fly in with his plane and just total the whole area rather then go wandering in a cave that looks clearly a bad idea.
On a serious note though it was a really good first night of DnD for our group and for myself and others the first real outing in DnD or Role play gaming. It was really good fun and the highlight of a gnome falling from a chimney had us all laughing (except the gnome). Big thanks to RT for doing the DM and having the patience to put up with us newbies. Can't wait for Friday now for the next part of the quest.
