Fellas, my memory isn't what it was (let that be a warning to you young 'uns - it's all fun and games until your wrist, eyesight and memory fall apart).
There was a kinda turn based space game ages ago. Free to play, you had to set up the server, discovered planets, built bases, distinctly remember building out squads of fighters. Very lo-fi, you got x number of turns per day and would come back next day to carnage.
Anyone remember it? N42 used to have a server, it's that long ago! (TL, Pen I'm looking at you!)
