With the upcoming WAN, and BC2 being one of the social games, I thought I will jump onto it tonight.
If our server is live tonight then I shall play on that and see if I can get a game going. If not then I will join a public server and have a go on that.
If anyone would like to join then you are more that welcome.

It's rented. I'm just waiting for it to convert over to private. No matter how many times I tried to select 'private# as sign up it always reverted back to 'public', so I rented it public and downgraded it to private, it seems to still be pending the change, so no server password yet.
As soon as it's set up I'll advise.
Are we only allowing dMw players onto it then?

I just checked Steam and I do actually own this game but only played 2 hours 2 years ago lol.
I was asked to purchase a 32 slot public server which I have done. There is on option for converting to private at no cost. Currently our only issue is that the 32 slots are anly showing as 8 slots and the support/help you get from Game Servers is basically non existent so Twobad and Co are pulling levers and twiddling knobs etc
Thanks for your help smilo getting the server. Wipe and reinstall has worked and we now have 32 slots. We can change it to a non-ranked and then password it at any time. If anyone feels like jumping on server name is Dead Men Walking - //www.deadmen.co.uk
Jumped on last night for a quick test and it works perfectly and can see this being really good fun. (even got a C4 kill :woot2:)
Note you can play this through Steam or Origin, but it will ask for your log in details (if you remember what this is) mine was my Origin log in detail and worked first time, so if in doubt try that first.
Also you will need Punkbuster installed to join the server. Now if you install BC2 and play through Origin it installs it for you and worked fine for me. I don't know if you install and play through Steam, that it will install it for you. It might be a case you need to install it manually.
Lastly following a few chats we will keep the server open to the public for the month we have it for with the exception of the Wan where we will password it for just dmw fun.
With the server up and running after many hours of messing about with it, I will be jumping on tonight to try and get a game stated. Feel free to come on and try make it dMw vs The World.

Do not steal vehicles from other teams spawns.
No offensive language.
