So, what computer specs are in the community?
Here are my specs to get us started https://www.userbenchmark.com/UserRun/27628201
Run this (https://www.userbenchmark.com) to see how your setup performs.
I'll keep this updated for reference when people want to consider upgrades etc.
No idea what it all means but here you go:

(Blame Chaos if it's pants). :)
QuoteWith a brilliant single core score, this CPU is the business: It demolishes everyday tasks such as web browsing, office apps and audio/video playback. Additionally this processor can handle typical workstation, and even moderate server workloads. Finally, with a gaming score of 100%, this CPU's suitability for 3D gaming is outstanding.
119% is an outstanding 3D score, it's the bee's knees. This GPU can handle almost all 3D games at very high resolutions and ultra detail levels.
291% is an exceptional SSD score. This drive is suitable for heavy workstation use, it will facilitate fast boots, responsive applications and allow for fast transfers of multi-gigabyte files.
32GB is enough RAM to run any version of Windows and it's far more than any current game requires. 32GB will also allow for large file and system caches, virtual machine hosting, software development, video editing and batch multimedia processing.
Blame Chaos he says! :D :flirty:
Nice idea, I will post mine tomorrow :)
:lmfao: touché. Dude, I told you that even the tech guy from Scan complimented me on the spec you chose :thumbsup2:
I would but the hamster is refusing to take the test!!
Don't laugh to much :D Ran a second time after tweaking something https://www.userbenchmark.com/UserRun/27644346 (1st run https://www.userbenchmark.com/UserRun/27643876)
https://www.userbenchmark.com/UserRun/27648183 (https://www.userbenchmark.com/UserRun/27648183)
Theres mine (few old HDDs which are on their way out which is known)
https://www.userbenchmark.com/UserRun/27649630
I admit I pushed my OC to 11 to get those percentiles :D
.. it is
all about those percentiles, make no mistake :flirty: !
That's an 8086K (8700K) @ 5.2 Ghz with a 4.7 Ghz Cache and 4GHz 16-18-18 DDR4, and a 1080Ti @ 2,050 Mhz core, 6 Ghz memory.
Otherwise known as the absolute knifes edge of what my PC can do.. I dial it back for 24/7 use to keep temps down, those settings need ridiculous voltages!
Fun fun fun :D
QuoteOverall this PC is performing way above expectations (99th percentile). This means that out of 100 PCs with exactly the same components, 1 performed better. The overall PC percentile is the average of each of its individual components. This PC is likely operated by a technical master!
96th percentile for CPU, 99th for GPU, 100th for RAM. :flirty:
I have known for a long time I need to spend some Money but to be honest it doesnt cause me any issues.

Here's my office PC. Obviously not used for gaming at all.... ever....honestly. :flirty:
https://www.userbenchmark.com/UserRun/27659780
That also looks familiar Pen! :D
Tbh, thread can be closed now - Evil just won. 2700K, what a god of a CPU.
:D
So here's my efforts https://www.userbenchmark.com/UserRun/27660173
Graphics card went pop last night, if you have any thoughts for an upgrade please see this post (https://www.deadmen.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?45191-Graphics-Card-buying-advice-please&p=441554&viewfull=1#post441554)
not as bad as i thought it was going to be. https://www.userbenchmark.com/UserRun/27661365
actually underclocking my gpu slightly due to instability issues... must resist buying 2080ti...
OOps! Just checked, didn't realise I didn't have SATA 3 cables...got them ordered

just make sure your HD's are on the yellow ports on your motherboard.

heres mine, bought it in feb, small formfactor but nice numbers

if anyone is interested, this is it

The rational behind the system above was that i wanted something that could come to Saudi and back. i had looked at building my own small factor, but time was really a factor and after watching loads of YT videos it can be a pain to get the cooling right, and yes it could have cost £1000 less, but most cases i looked at meant the computer would be in a small rucksack. This one fits in my carry on suitcase that all airlines accept, that even includes ryan air. So it doesn't go in the hold which is a massive bonus and worth the extra dosh in my eyes, and it runs really cool even out here no more than 73 on the gpu or cpu under full load. I also added 3 more tb hard drive space and removed the 2tb mechanical.
Nice! :thumbsup2:

Glad I'm not there only one around here on an i5. Only got a gtx 950 with it but it copes ok on most stuff (apart from arma if there are too many extras loaded).

Looks like I was underclocking my CPU  opps
https://www.userbenchmark.com/UserRun/27687494
A little improvement :D
Well I ran it, not sure what it all means though.

UserBenchmark is pretty trash for AMD chips, the site seems to have a real stiffy for Intel stuff at the mo, but it's giving me good scores, so - https://www.userbenchmark.com/UserRun/27705718
https://www.userbenchmark.com/UserRun/27707125
Still doing fine for mATX.
https://www.userbenchmark.com/UserRun/27718035
Not doing to bad, can still do stuff (although external drives seems to be in bad shape)
Heres mine!
https://www.userbenchmark.com/UserRun/27893025
Decided on a wee upgrade...from i5 4440 to i5 11400

Smashing it:

Seems ok

I wouldn't put to much weight in what scores you get for your rigs from userbenchmark, they've been found to make their tests favour certain brands over others.
MSI MPG X570S EDGE MAX WIFI (MS-7D53) Performance Results - UserBenchmark (https://www.userbenchmark.com/UserRun/48402354)
I haven't OC'd anything on mine, so happy with result.
