Work have just delivered my new desktop PC - a spanky Dual 3GHz Xeon beast, with 2GB RAM :dribble:
It should be Folding flat-out for the team by the end of the day...

1700 im still on a frikking PIII 700mhz!!!
well i didnt have the worst pc even then

i was on an AMD 800 with 156mb sd ram
now its a xp1700+ [i think it runs at around 1.4 gig at the moment]
with 512 ddr ram
Must admit i played on my 733 for quite a while now ive never looked back it caused me so much grief now its been disposed of :)
That will be an awesome folding machine, just make sure you are running multiple copies of F@H on it to maximise its capabilities - use the -local flag and different machine numbers to identify the different threads. Oldie got a similar machine going at hyper-speed :blink: :D

Don't dribble too much guys, it is after all a work PC, and as such won't be doing anything more glamorous than running engineering apps :mellow:. It'd be wasted on most home applications.

Already done mate ;). Both copies running as services, with different device ID's, utilising both Xeons at 100%.
The only time the folding rate should take a hit is during working hours when I have to use the box for the reason it was bought.
