Top game on a map we usually not play. TP always a great clan to meet.

Some feedback on the match. I have played this map a lot both in matches (in previous clan to dMw) and on pubs. This map is much similar to dust but much more agressive. These comments are from the match but also from previous match experiences in another clan.

We lost the knife round and thanks to the opposition we got T side, which is definitely the best way to start a match on this map. If we had won the knife round I would have suggested T for starters. Why? Because then the enemy can't steal your CT tactic for second half. :)

On this map it is extremely important that when a rush is called you push through the bottlenecks as quick as possible. You should avoid stopping at either top of stairs or ramp area. If you do the CTs get backup and it is almost impossible to break through. Also you could be flanked and we got flanked twice.

Another very important part of the strategy is that when a rush or a strategy is called asT it is almost always a one way street kind of decision. Stick to it and follow it through. If stairs is called we need to haul ass and move in collectively to pick off the Ts. There is NO room for hanging back. If one guy moves in the rest MUST follow or the first guy is dead meat.

The key to take ramp bombsite is multiple grenades of smoke and flash with smoke being the most important one as CT backup have only one way to come from the other site.
On stairs site flash and HE are more important. It paramount to get through the first bottleneck very quickly. If we don't it is a meat grinder (we know that from what we put them thorugh when we were CT).

As CT we did the right thing. Let them move into the bottle necks and then nade the hell out of them. They key is to just stay back and not meeting them head on on either ramp or stairs. We naded them really well as CT. It really pays off to let them advance into the bottle necks. First round was a top example of that. Also I don't think I have ever seen this many HE kills in a match ever.

I really love this map in matches or on pubs. We know it doesn't work well as PCS/TCS but it still a great map.

:D  To say its not a map we play for matches we did a fine job ....the rush was very strung out for the first few rounds..the flash and smoke action was a bit sketchy also but we got through. lots of fun with frantic coms and action

Respect for the HE 1st round plan ....ill let Sadako explane just how sweet it was

Started of the wrong by shooting at the knive. Just help me remember to warm up first. Was to busy with work and schoolstuff first and didn't think that I would have to play. Ahwell, good sports for letting it go by another 3RR's.

As T we needed to back eachother up more and make sure that we don't block eachother in the bottlenecks.
As CT we did well but try and do the plan as requested plz. Saw someone running through the whole spawnarea to get to the same position as he was be4.

GG's, decent lads.

Edit, sorry 4 being a bit harsh lately, personal life isn't going to well. Nothing to be botherd about for you guys tho.

well played guys good team play, respect to sadako's 1st round super nade tactics i liked that alot,that got use the money we needed 4 nades and a decent gun 4 the 2nd round as ct.

all in all good team play and we covered each other really well ,i remember helping out jas just b4 he got shot and saved his TANGO :ph34r:
and the same done 4 me

at least ya managed to pull a team together without having to ring me ...so saving me from an ear-bashing from the Mrs. ........

used to like this map ......just a shame it don't work as a TCS map

Instead of getting you they got me. Got a request half an hour for the match and joined in 15 minutes before the match. I wont go in again with no warming up.  :(  It does help if you play half an hour or more before the match.

After the match last night and the fine play set up by Sadako with the "Super HE avit manoeuvre" it set me thinking :eyebrow:

Simple as a defending team all we did was set a point where we would engage the enemy. Once they were spotted we all tossed our HE’s into the area and bingo a whole team is down

To try and put this into general TCS play is quite difficult as it requires a fair amount communication and time to set up but the principle behind it can be used

The trick is not what weapon you use but the fact that the enemy is being hit in force by 2/3 guns/HE at the same time …..Sounds easy but its not. To find cover and to get all your sights on the same place is harder than u think…..
 
So what I want to try is dropping a spray (PAINTING) in the area I will engage the enemy and take up position. Then other players know where the firefight will be and can take positions in cover around it

Some maps don’t need this as they have a natural kill zones a door or arch but if u Paint it others will know where support is required …

The other team can of course see the spay but its just something I would like to try as it would help me understand some of the best areas to set-up fire zones and help with tactics.  Not to be used in a match btw  :rolleyes:
