Hi Guys.
Not sure if any of you own DayZ. But I am looking at starting a server after not finding one that fit's my style.
The plan is for it to be Hardcore PVE that will allow some pvp, but with no base raiding. with more wolves, more zombies and less food the challenge will be just to survive,
When it's all up i will let you know. Hope some of you chaps give it a go...

I never really got into DayZ, as I found it to be a bit too clunky and lacking of real content. I played it many years ago and mostly solo, which I imagine was a large part of the problem.
Has it changed much? What does one 'do' in a PvE server?
I am still new to the game, but what I've found i like about the game is the just trying to survive, So the plan is to make the environment a lot tougher. food will be an issue and with a lot more tougher zombies, it will be tricky to get in the military bases. So you shouldn't be rocking an M4 in a full set of BDU's after a day.
But you are right there are no Bosses to fight at end game.
I've still got it installed so would jump on and give it a try. Blob and Puff said they would probably give it a try too.
How hard will you be making it to find weapons as constantly getting eaten can be rather repetitive.
You will get guns. But not 2 or 3 from one military base
We got the server up and running last night. The config may change a bit over the next few days and we could add a few more mods. But it's playable. So if you are up for it pop on...

OK boys server is live. It's had a rename "Good Dayz to Die | HARDCORE SURVIVAL | BASE BUILDING | TOXIC ZO"
PVP and base raiding is allowed. but we hope to have made it tough enough that your just happy to survive and people won't KOS.
We have increased the number of zombies and reduced loot. Main mods are Base Building Plus and Toxic Zones. The toxic zones are in the main MIll bases to stop farming.
also time on base raiding has been increased, just to discourage it.
If you have not tried Dayz before i think you will find it's as DAYZ a server as dMw could do.....
