Title: Star Wars Squadrons

Yes it's EA, but it's getting really nice things said about it, plus it's more space combat and I can't get enough of that:

Important to note, under £30 on CDKeys (Origin, more if bought on Steam), no microtransactions, detail in in the quality of the ships and the whole franchise coverage, some single player with main focus on multiplayer, plus VF support.

I'm having to play this on my 7 year old laptop with a gtx780m. At 1080p, Ultra settings, I get 48 fps. It plays nicely with an xBox controller, and the depth and accessibility are about right. I recommend anyone who likes space fighters to consider this. EA monthly people, if any exist may be able to give it a go.

Joysticks work great, the mouse and keyboard is also fine, if you can cope with the mini-analogues sticks on an XBox controller, then perhaps, I definately didn't like the controller.

There are about 25% of the mappings that Elite or SC has to cope with. It's purely combat based, and great fun. I've not tried multiplayer or their big battle mode yet but I think it should be pretty impressive if even the single player is anything to go by.
