Main thought: you will probably fill up 256Gb SSD with game installs extremely fast, so check if you can add a drive or if you will need to replace it in week one.

2060 seems to be a pretty decent laptop card to me so far! :)
I guess ask yourself will the i5 and 8Gb ram be enough? My laptop has an i7-9750H and the i5 in that looks similar in performance () so probably cpu matches the 2060 well enough.
I have 16Gb ram, no complaints thus far though no idea if I use it all... so not sure how much difference that makes versus 8?

If it matters to you check out any reviews on noise, heat, etc.

Maybe not an issue for you but: keyboard looks like it has a numpad - so it (and touchpad) is offset to the left - seems like a small thing but on a laptop it's a pita if you do much typing (wasd works fine...) and sadly it seems that most manufacturers put it on as a feature :g:it's the one thing that I decided was okay to compromise on that I wish I had not with my laptop!

My advice should not necessarily be considered sage however - perhaps a more lowly herb like oregano?

The offset does look a bit off putting, might have to see if I can have a play with one similar currrys.  The memory and ssd I was expecting to upgrade particularly the 256gb nvme.the £30 saving from Smilo will pretty much cover an extra 8gb ram stick :yahoo:

While gaming you probably won't notice the offset keyboard, assuming you are going to plug in a mouse! Just while typing for any length of time. Mind you there were very few 15" laptops without a numpad when I was looking previously and nice as Razer's laptops look they are not priced with budget in mind!

With the extra SSD and ram I reckon you'll be happy so long as you're no more demanding that I am  ... how does it rate on thermal performance? My aero 15 gets hot enough you could probably cook stuff on parts of it...!
