For the past few months of lockdown I decided to change the spare bedroom into a decent games room for me and the kids (mostly me :D).

Please find attached a few before and after pics... hope you enjoy.

Thanks guys, we love how it turned out.

The new full RGB PC will finish it off nicely and I have a handmade 500x300mm Nordschleife (https://www.etsy.com/uk/listing/525722098/wall-art-racetrackswall-decorationf1?ga_order=most_relevant&ga_search_type=all&ga_view_type=gallery&ga_search_query=nurburgring+wall+art&ref=sr_gallery-1-13&organic_search_click=1&frs=1&bes=1) track cut out coming in Feb, which will be on the wall next to the sim rig.

Then need to find time to get back into Gaming :roflmao:

What the heck is that desk that you've got? Is the monitor on a moving arm??? Congratulations on such a cool conversion!

The desk is actually a worktop from Ikea (https://www.ikea.com/gb/en/p/karlby-worktop-walnut-veneer-00335201/), idea fully stolen from Jays2Cents (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sx9WA2wgOyg&t=179s). Sits 12mm off the wall (on batons) with led strips behind.

The hydraulic arm (https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B08B8X4KBV/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) is great for moving to desk or racing sim.

Nice set up dude! I initially thought what a stupid place to put the monitor, how the hells he meant to use it when he's not using his racing seat, then the arm appeared!

New PC has arrived and spent the last couple of days configuring.
Looks nice, daughter chose the Orange and Cyan colour scheme. Just wanted Orange myself, I've clearly gone soft :g:

Looks like a result, nice job. I like 16,54,8 Forest Green moving to orange. Seems to make me feel calm. Never though I would be interested in LEDs in a case before but hey age.

Come on Smite, get on the next project, this vid is from 5 years ago but I still think its such a cool project and I wanted to share incase other "build" fans haven't seen it.
I could not imagine getting this setup at home formyself lol
