I enjoy a good old desk/case gallery (OCUK) or Battlestation (https://www.reddit.com/r/battlestations/) thread and thought I should start one here, so here goes.
Post your gaming setup! I'll go first.

This is my setup in Saudi, the box in the far right corner is a voltage regulator as the voltage dips when the air con turns on

Great idea, and very clean set up uni. Love it. What are the ambient lights? Are they software controlled from the desktop?
Looks good too sulks. Especially the console-sized PC, I do like the idea of those for more portable battle stations.
I'll post up mine in the week!
Ditto Chaos' questions on the light setup Uni! That setup looks lush man well done!
Is that a pre-built desk @sulky? Looks quite large if it is. I gave up looking and went with a worktop and some steel legs I got separately in the end as I couldn't find anything big/deep enough. What's it like getting pc parts out in Saudi, do Amazon operate out there?
Regarding the lights, they are Philips Hue playbars. You can get them as a twin or triple pack(I have the triple). Lights are controlled with the phone app or with the Windows app. That current light theme is just a pre-set one called 'Disturbia', for some reason. You can manually control each light using a colour wheel or use some of their pre-sets.
With the Windows app you can actually get it to observe your monitor and change colours based on that. I played some Doom Eternal and Destiny with it enabled and it would change based on the scene. Can be quite cool but also a little distracting if the changes happen frequently. Actually one of the cool things it does is also listen to the audio as well and reacts to that.

the desk was in the villa when i moved in, its an ikea special provided by the company. I removed the drawers so i could get the chair under it.
Dont know much about pc parts out here as havent had the need so far. i bought the system in the pic in the uk, its smaller that latest gen consoles with a 9900k and 2080ti air cooled. Also the 3070 laptop i just bought was also from the uk. so unless both break (touch wood) i wont have the need to find out. They have amazon but the selection is limited for pc parts

Very nice sneaky that's some major screenage
I can't get the one in normal light to upload the right way round, so this'll have to do.

Sneaks you need to tidy your room mate! :roflmao:
Agree with Tobes though, nice looking panels.
I'll get a more recent one tomoz - all the Lego is on the left side desk now [emoji23](https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20211017/40b824c73ff4e87cfee719d665083f85.jpg)(https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20211017/58e548206d855b7947de75f223066d58.jpg)

What case do you have @Rizzy, that looks quite nice and decent front in takes!
@Milli, that's really tidy. I like the idea of two desks like that. I can see you've gone for the Ikea classic of worktop and their drawers. It's a nice setup and popular on the OCUK thread like this. What size is that second screen?
Cheers bud - They are the Predator x34 on the left and rog swift 27" on right

That's a Coolermaster H500 Mesh.

Chaos was close, mines the H500 - https://www.coolermaster.com/catalog/legacy-products/cases/mastercase-h500/
Front looks like mesh in the photo - and the link you posted seems to suggest the cases now come with both a mesh and acrylic front, is that right?
All I remember about this case is the original glass-fronted version getting absolutely panned in airflow tests, so much so that CM started to offer mesh front panel replacements for about £10 direct from their store. They then released a mesh version a few months after (the one I posted) as a standalone case, that basically rendered the glass one obsolete.
If I'm right seems they ditched the naming and just give you both now then?

I think they ended up with about 4 different versions of the case, the original solid front, then the updated mesh front, then the option to switch between the 2 & then the version I got with the choice of either front & the top of mine is a bit different - H500's (https://www.coolermaster.com/search-results/?searchTerm=H500) - edit - also, mine cost a fair bit less than the others for some reason.
Good lord, talk about complicating your product line up... :roflmao:
Well no doubt there is a nice enough case buried in there somewhere! :D
Aaaaand there we go.

I'm a little concerned you haven't got enough headphones there chief. No wonder you were taking at the **** out of mine at the LAN. All fitting into place now.

I keep telling Jas the same thing, but for some reason she doesn't buy it.
Also Pen, you need to upgrade your chair game! The tech is neat though, without a doubt.
Currently used for both work and play purposes

I'm liking all of these double desk set ups.
We found a desk that fits along the length of our study, with Jasmines area just to the right of mine. Now I'm wondering If I should have gone with an 'L'!

Ah I see you are a man of clutter, I mean culture as well.... :roflmao: I too believe in the organised *ahem* Chaos...
That's it on a relatively tidy day. :norty:
A creative mess is better than tidy idleness...
Lovely setups, might inspire me to sort mine out :D
@Penfold do you not find that really uncomfortable? It's a lovely looking room/desk, very cosy but boy that chair looks punishing. I don't know how you work with the screen off the side like that all the time either, it hurts my neck!
@Chaos, why so many headphones!? Do you have a pair for gaming/movies and different genres of music or something? When it comes to games, is there a diminishing return on the sound quality due to the quality of the sound in game? With music you can get uncompressed audio which I imagine does make a big difference but is that the case with games?
For gaming it's definitely a case of diminishing returns. You may notice quality improvements, but as your focus is normally elsewhere the audio becomes a smaller part of the overall picture.
As you touched upon, the reason to own multiple pairs is for different flavours of listening. The headphones are all quite different in how they present music, and it's quite nice to go from one to the other depending on what I'm listening to, or sometimes just my mood. I also have different amps for the same reason, although the end result is always 90% headphone, 10% everything else.
Realistically you have to be really into not just music but headphones as a way of listening, to go down the rabbit hole. Some people prefer speakers, some in-ears, and many just don't care - they use whatever is convenient at the time.
It is however nice to see hi-fi audio becoming more accessible to the average music-lover, which I think happens as a combination of lower prices and smaller form factors. I picked up some Sennheiser 599s a few years ago, having not used any decent cans for a while, and after that I was hooked. They were basically a gateway drug. :D
Some awesome battlestations! Kudos to you all.
Here is mine:

Wow very nice set up mate super clean love it
And just like I need some more headphones, Haymz clearly needs more monitors!
I can see a 3x3 grid in your future! :flirty:
And I agree with Tobes, far too clean and tidy. Very nice.
Wow some seriously cool looking set ups. Obviously a lot of thought and effort went into them. Now I feel utterly inadequate, with just a grey box of a PC on a desk with a monitor, mouse, keyboard etc.
But in the spirit of Halloween....

Excellent! Well played. :D
:lmfao:
Bought our first place back in November and finally been able to decorate how I wanted to and tidy up my setup. I could never be bothered to invest a lot of time in it before as it was only 'temp' (many years on).
