Not necessarily a game released in 2021, but the game you particularly enjoyed playing in 2021

Just about the only game I've played all year was Genshin Impact, dipped in & out of the occasional freebie from Epic too, Hob probably the standout from those.

Actually I'm going to stick another controversial shout in - ARMA 3 - S.O.G. Prairie Fire. The first missions we played co-op, creeping through the jungle towards an evac point with pursuing VC voices echoing all around us were incredible.

Yes then it got incredibly unbalanced and rubbish and impossibly hard, but those initial first few missions were brilliant - amazing tension and atmosphere.

New World - far from perfect but it got dMw doing things as a community again (not discounting the other active games of course) in terms of numbers and personally I am still enjoying it.
2nd Benny's mention, Halo, awesome. Valheim, again, but wasn't that 2020 mainly? I'm losing track of time.
