Fast forward to 2022 and it is FINALLY getting a western release having enjoyed many years of success in KR and in Russia, published by Amazon games (not a plug I promise) and it is FREE TO PLAY Launching on 11 Feb unless you get a founders pack for a headstart.

I am mainly starting this thread to just ensure that anyone who chooses to give it a go, all end up on the same server. This website (https://lostarkive.com/guides/lost-ark-complete-server-distribution-guide/) does a good job of breaking them down, but it looks for me at least like Zinnervale will be my first choice unless anyone has a hardcore reason for another I'm not aware of, maybe some big twitch community or something?
Anyone else going to give it a try?

Thanks for posting this sith, been meaning to for a while but always got side tracked! I will be there on the 9th with any luck and look forward to seeing who else will be joining us in this new world. Seen a lot about the game and it looks amazing with such a vast array of things to do in game. Hope to see a good few member try it out some time weather it be release or after .

Yes, I heard from Hellmate that this was the case because of strict gambling policy, its a real shame, but at least many people have enjoyed this game using VPN etc to play in Russia, maybe that is an option for NL? I have no idea if this will be possible, but at least its free 2 play
I read 6 months ago they would change the format to make it EU compliant, perhaps that will happen before launch. It does look like something I personally would enjoy.

I have started on a new server. PROCYON. This one doesn't have the 3 hour queue time..... Look for Armitach the Berserker
Yeah there was a 20k queue there today. Sadly we have already started on Sceptrum yesterday. Hoping the queues go down on the main one but have to see how they handle it.
Pain starting again. I left a level 18 character. But at least I get on the sever straight away now.
Indeed it is annoying having to start again over and over in games like this. Amazon has started to work on the issues though, they have added new servers for the F2P people to join but I feel it still won't be enough but it is a step in the right direction. One major thing they are doing which I found brilliant is any of us who have a founder pack and now have to queue to get in the server which we redeemed the founder pack is now all getting a second pack so that we can go to another server which hopefully is not as populated and won't have to wait so long to get into a server :) Now as for the server I think people should play on it... I do not know right now I don't know how many others on here are planning to try the game out. Zimmervale was the one we aimed for and its 20K queues are not very nice. I, Sith, and Hellmate are currently in Sceptrum and have not seen a queue for this server yet but I know this might not be the same after tonight when the F2P flood gates are opened up. Let us know if anyone is trying this out and if so what sever you are joining so we can try to get together. There are no server transfers right now and I doubt there will be, just to throw that out there.
If you are on the fence what server you are going to be in DO NOT reedem your founders pack till you are sure and we can see the state of the game!! i am keeping mine in my storage for now

We're currently enjoying
Sceptrum but this might change if it is dominated and filled to bursting point after 5pm when it hits the F2P horde, it is on the list of "suggested" servers for new players joining as f2p so it could go either way at the minute!
I'll be sitting online just to add to the pop to try put people off, I'd encourage anyone else interested to do the same lol :D

Great to have you both on board ! There is no guild yet as I was not sure how many players we would be able to get on the server, with a good few being able to join in then a guild is something we can definitely look at doing ! Makes it easy for us to see each other and there are some benefits we can work towards in the guild. Either myself or Sith will look at creating a guild for us :) once made we will let you know :)

I've created a guild now. It's called Deadmen Walking (was only allowed one space in the name). Search for that or dMw (in the description) to find it. I'll happily hand over guild master if required by the community rules. I've set it to request only. Will be on tonight again to check for applications :)
SithAfrikaan is now the guild leader. Jewelz and I can also accept members and possibly someone else as well.
We are still capped at 30 members until we level up the guild. Currently 22 members. I've had a question to accept alts into the guild, but as they count as individual members as well I think we should wait so that we've got spots if more people join. What are your takes on this?
I'm in London for a week, but we're at max officers and Six is deputy so there are 3 people who can accept guild missions and members :-) See you all soon!

I gave this a try from my old UK steam account. Not really sure what to think about it yet, I'm usually rubbish at these click to move games but we'll see. One thing I wanted to ask, that new login legendary chest, open immediately or wait?
Glad to hear you are giving it a try Albert. You do get used to the click to move and you can just hold the mouse button down to constantly move unless you are preforming an attack. As for the chest I would say there is no rush to redeem it. Wait till you have a character that you enjoy to play and then redeem it. I think most of the items on it are later game items and the chest won’t expire so don’t worry about that either.
I'm getting into this now. As a Bard... lvl 20, Sceptrum. Is there any value in joiing the Guild at this level?
Of course Albert ! Glad you are starting to enjoy the game, it can be A grind at time but I feel this is expected really. Please do request to join the guild. You can donate and help the research. This way it will make it quicker for our guild to level up.
