Title: Office mobile internet
Post by: Penfold on July 28, 2022, 11:40:04 AM
Morning.

I'm thinking about giving up my Virgin Media Business phone and Internet in the office and going mobile phone and data.

Presumably I can just buy a data-sim based router with a RF45 socket, connect that to a switch to then connect to the computers. Is that right?

Does anyone know of a sim router which can be plugged in full time

Thanks in advance.

presuming you mean RJ45, and there are loads out there that should do what you are looking for.

or something that will give you better reception for the sim..

And make sure the sim plan you go on is actually intended to do this, everything changed a while back because of hotspot abuse on phones, please don't ask me to cite what I'm on about lmao
