Wow, that's very cool, new infrastructure is always nice. What are you working on Whitey?
That's the move complete and games servers restarted.
I've migrated from VMware ESXi (free) running on a server (Xeon Gold 5118 with 64GB ram) that has been having power supply issues (and that I can't get replacement power supply for) to Hyper-V running on a standard PC (Ryzen 9 3900X with 128GB ram) which stays powered through a UPS if there is a power outage. The Xeon Server goes down even though it's connected to a UPS and has dual power supplies and it's a power hog.
The RAM has limited us on the number of servers we can run at the same time and ECC server memory is really expensive compared to NON-ECC DDR4.
Thanks for the efforts Whitey muchly appriciated
Spill more beans about the way things are run in that mystical back end, its pretty cool, got any pics of the new server? Nothing too racy please! :norty:
Thanks guys, this is awesome and totally understated. What private community has this run by their own admins? Great job dMw.
Noticing the Dayz chat, I imagine this helps deliver on this idea.
