I had a problem with voice comms breaking up when I first joined MH. In my case I found that using OLDER drivers cured the problem - go figure! (Creative Audigy soundcard)

Did you check the sound output option in your standard CSsection?
Otherwise, check the soundsettings from your normal computertask. It should be in the corner on the right. That's all I know.

Mmmm. 100% could be too much. If you think what happens to your HiFi when you run it flat out you will frequently get "clipping" of the sound. I prefer to set everything to around 40 to 60% and then play with master volume to control overall sound level

i use to get some odd behaviour from my mic, but it was because i hadnt disabled my on board sound card. XP wouldnt let me run them both :)

As some now know i have big probs with steam.

I'm lagging most of the time. And most of the time when a server is full or almost full (1 slot open)

I just came back from MH and sqounk told me that he almost couldn't hear me.
But that should be k now. I hoped steam would take over all my settings but it didn't so i had to put up the volume again.

So i hope my vc will work k now.

Now i have to sort out that lag prob.
