To use the Admin Mod plugin, you need to create a file in your cstrike directory called "adminpass.cfg" containing the following 4 lines:
setinfo "MH-pass" "bahnhof"
developer 1
echo [ADMIN] password has been set on client
developer 0
Once you've done that, add this line:
exec adminpass.cfg
to the autoexec.cfg file in your cstrike directory.
Before trying out your new-found superpowers, I strongly recommend you visit http://www.adminmod.org (http://www.adminmod.org) and read the "help" and "commands" sections on the left menu.
When you're feeling confident, go to:
http://bob.pureanarchy.net/scripts/bobmodmenu.htm (http://bob.pureanarchy.net/scripts/bobmodmenu.htm)
for a superb script to manage admin commands in-game.
Note: If your admin commands aren't working, post a message here quoting your current WONID - without that, you won't get access.

Nope - I use 'em straight out of the box. Regarding the problem of losing rcon on map changes, I saw a suggestion to run "exec adminpass.cfg" at the start of each new map to regain access. I haven't tested this though.
I haven't got the other fix compiled and working yet either, but I'll keep youse all posted when I do... :roll:

The auth fix is installed and (appears to be) working.
Obvious signs of it working are messages just before the end of a round saying you have been auth'd as an admin.
Obvious signs of it not working are rcon not working.

During last night's match admin mod was letting everyone in the game know that the server password was grandprix. 8O
I changed the server password from maglite to dmwsmeg but it changed after every restart ???
I hoped that it was only the admins that were seeing the message but Armitage saw the 'grandprix' message.

OK, it's deffo working now. There are some.. anomalies ..I haven't figured out yet. Coloured admin messages aren't working, f'rinstance.

yep it has appeared on HLSW again and in game it says that i have been re-authorised but when i try to make a command it says that i am not allowed to do that...
