Dead Men Walking

I have just gone through the procedure of installing RzE's little helper in my CZ. There are some things I learned along the way and here is something you need to think about when installing.

I used version 16.4 that you can find here http://www.csnation.net/rze/aliases/ (http://www.csnation.net/rze/aliases/)

Point the installer to this directory

..\Steam\SteamApps\email@email.co.uk\condition zero\czero

and not this folder

..\Steam\SteamApps\email@email.co.uk\condition zero\cstrike


If you have RzE installed previously in your CS1.6 you can copy all your settings after you have installed in the CZ directory. Easiest done by copying the entire RzE folder and the config.cfg. You can also copy your tempdecal.wad to get your spray. If you are using userconfig.cfg you should copy this one as well.

If you are using commandmenu you will need to edit this text to make it work in CZ e.g. map names.

Another of those small but oh so irritating problems. All my buy scripts and key binds work in CZ bar the following:
  :) Works.....................bind "DEL" "weapon_c4"
   :( Doesn't work..........bind "PGDN" "weapon_hegren"
  :) Works....................bind "PGUP" "weapon_knife"
  :( Doesn't work...........bind "HOME" "weapon_sgren"
  :( Doesn't work...........bind "END" "weapon_flash"
I have tried various combinations such as 'use weapon_lkjlkjl' '+weapon etc'
IT IS DRIVING ME NUTS! They worked perfectly before reinstalling Steam (all 8 hours of it!) Answeres on a postcard please. There will be a prize for the first correct answer opened.
Incidently Mad_ness, reinstalling Steam cured the error mesage that we were getting. Just make a backup of your config files first. But of course you didn't need to be told that 'cos you're not a dumbass like moi. :dummy:
