1.1 help that takes ages to move around <_<

How i can use 7.2

Well that is easy: I started to play with my sens at 3/4 and after some time playing i set it to 6 and now it is 7.2 in a few weeks i'm thinking to put it to 8.

You can set it higher in your options menu but that is freaking me out so i just edit my config file.

I use 8, with a script to bring it down to 3 when I hold down mouse4 (side button) for more precise aiming when necessary.

The poll's a little pointless though I think, as it depends on a number of other factors, like size of your mousemat and windows sensitivity, for example.

mousemat what is that

that is not a factor.

It is just how you are what your reaction speed is and how you use your mouse.

If you can use your mouse at a very small area then you can have a high sens.
But i know some people who can't use a mouse in a small area they almost need the whole table to use there mouse so they can use a low sens in the game.

Mouse sensitivity setting in CS.  Go into console and type sensitivity then hit return.  That will tell you how sensitive you are.... :norty:

2.5, thinking about bumping it up to 5 though, i've never encountered problems with 2.5 though, even with a small mouse mat.

15 sensitivity? Jesus, you guys must have rock solid fists to keep em still so you don't end up turning round at the faintest of movements o_O.

15 sensitivity would be unplayable for me.

Out of interest I tried 'sensitivity 15' on a public server the other night.  It was way difficult, but the most embarrassing moment came when I sneezed in mid-round and the consequent shake in my arm caused all the other players to stop and award me 5.9 for Artistic Impression and 5.8 for Technical Merit for the triple toe-loop I had just performed.

/me returns to the old sensitivity level

However, it also varies on which mouse you have, the drivers, whether you are over-riding windows control of the mouse in the game, etc etc. So a 5 for one person will not necessarily be a setting of 5 for you. use what feels right.

I use a randonly generated number between 1 and 10 each time I play :)

i think mine is very high some where near 20 i think!!!
i uased to have it at max sensitivity, but when i see others sensitivity set lower they get mroe movement than i do, so i think it may depend on the mouse a lot as well

Does the OS mouse sensitivity setting have any bearing?

Mines about 12 now, i stil struggle at times with long distance aiming. Im hoping a new mouse will improve that (Logitech MX510 thing).

This vote is flawed I tell you  :) .

You can set your sensitivty in game but your mouse driver really does the main work. I set mine at 3 in game but 7 or 8 in the Razer settings. So if you really want to compare mouse settings you need to consider both.
