Rite its not my headphones not steam friends list as tht was down but weirdly i was getting this beeping and i know it was coming from steam its gone now so hopefully it won't come back!

Best stupid thing I ever did with games and sounds was to try playing Natural Selection.
Everytime it ran I got Diana Krall singing softly in my ears, fine for 5 minutes, annoying as hell after that. I somehow convinced myself it was in game music, but I couldn't shut it off. I ranted on multiple forums, swore cursed and cried. Best thing being that I'm sure someone agreed with me. My CD was autoplaying the last CD in the drive.
