Ive just got back from pendine sands racing me kite buggy for 2hrs non stop (nowyou understand the title!).over a 4-5mile course i did 5 laps, and my god am i paying for it now (walking like a penguin for a few days me thinks) any hows heres some pics (ill have a pic soon of me after i finnished the race (covered in crud) just gotta get my dad to use up the film when he goes to kenya (SP?)

There was quite a few dutch ppl there racing (one let go of there kite and it went flying into me not fun :( ) if any of you have ever been to pendine you will know about the big hill which had to walk up grrrrrr (ah well will be driving for next years event)
What's the top speed of these things? Looks like a cool hobby to do.

top speed um my personal best was set at the race at 38mph but the pros were doing more like 40-50mph the current record is at about 80mph i think.

you might want to look at a PL bomba or G-arc cheaper than the frenzys and better performance, i use a libre special, ozone razors: 3.5m, 4.5m, 6.8m, 11m gotta start saving for a new buggy now :D

yeah i saw about that pretty nasty, but kitesurfings totaly diffrent to bugging, they go onut on like 18m kites and such. but it was a freak squall and up he went.
