Title: Preliminary changes proposed for LAN VI

A couple of things to mull over:

1. We will appoint a 'Fines Officer' for the next LAN. His job will be to hand out fines for, well, just about anything  :lol: The fines will be small amounts and the 'crimes' will form the basis of the FO's report delivered at lunchtime on Sunday.

2. We will be running a LAN forum - transferred to main forum on our return. This will keep you informed of any organised events and will allow the spreading of malicious rumour.

Maybe plan the tournaments up front. Sort out the teams, maps and tourny style (i.e. MR12, CO etc) as well as start times before hand. Although everyone likes to relax and take breaks, bar visits and walks around The Village of the Damned etc. I think we all expect a CS tourny at some point (correct me if I'm wrong).

It would save TL having to do the teams on the day and DA and Fatbob not having a clue what time the're supposed to be there  ;)

A modification to the Fines Idea, what hapens to them? On rugby tour, normally any fines go into a pot, and when u buy a round of drinks you use the fine money. Would a similar thing happen here?

Not sure I get this bit? By fines I assume we mean small amounts of money?

Could someone explain? Unless we're talking a few pence I think there might be a problem with this idea ???
