Weather sounds almost good for Saturday, so fingers crossed we won;t need a marwuee. Put another way, I am not going to call anyone about a marquee unless the weather forecast suddenly starts to show nasty rain clouds as expected (like it did yesterday for Friday!). The 5 day forecast shows some rain today, but then sunshine all the way through to the weekend. :thumbsup:

financial situation for me is looking very dire so im going to have to pull myslef from the maybe's to the gutted pile as well,
it got compunded with the fact that i now need new golf clubs as mine got a bit trashed and a couple are completly skrewed at the 24hr event i did at the weekend, managed to send the head of my 7 iron a good 50m down the 2nd fairway!!!! and have buggggggerd the head on my pitching wedge!! im going back to the shop to get them replaced so that i can sell them for at least a bit of money. and get myself a half decent set.

I think we will get by with using the speakers that are in my lounge - I'm not expecting an all night rave anyway, so they should do! If you could bring the CDs that would be great.

However, SWMBO will "not be sleeping in a tent - however nice the garden" and I have already spent my meagre allowance keeping her in lark's tongues in aspic for the month so we will not be repairing to a local hostelry or lodging place for the night.
Which course of action does the panel recommend?
1. Leave the house under cover of early morn with green maggot[1], toothbrush and whatever beer tokens I may purloin from the heavily-mantrapped purse of my loving SO.
2. Make the journey with SO riding bitch, eat, not drink, and leave white the sun is stil above the yardarm.
3. As for 2, but with much added drinking and many heavy references to how nice it would be if someone would offer us a bed for the night, thus not leave at all till the following day.
4. Take up an offer to visit old friends near Lincoln who have offered us a bed and many drinks.
Bear in mind that by visiting, other guests will possibly be entertained by some comedy sketches involving my bike in a donut/GFK head interface (postponed from last LAN) and an entirely new one involving the same bike and the boot of BB's car.
