Title: Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind
Post by: smilodon on May 07, 2004, 08:45:59 AM
"She who must be honoured and obeyed as a Godess" :worship:  has decreed that tonight we must endure Jim sCarey and Hate Winslet in Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind.

So I step out tonight as a man condemed to Carey-esque Rom-Com Hell. Pray for me and I'll write something about the experience tonight, if I can stop sobbing long enough    :byesad:

Best of luck m8. I hope you'll get through it. Use alcohol and all that stuff so you can get through and hopefully fall asleep during the film.

(calls shrink for smilodon for his psychic troubles afterwards).

Oh that that new film out with Jim Carey? Is it not good ? as i thought it would be! O well the mask and Liar Liar will probably be his best films as his style is wearing off!

You never know, it does have one redeeming feature (IMHO) in that the screenplay was written by Charlie Kaufman.

I personally enjoyed 'Being John Malkovich' and have heard good things about (if not yet actually seen) 'Adaptation'.  So, I'd be interested in hearing what you think about his latest effort.

Thankfully this never happened.  I went down the pub and Her Highness stayed in with a few girlfriends and made porno's on her new Camcorder.

depends how much you want of bennys collection, to take the full collections you will require sevral of these: http://www.lacie.com/products/product.htm?id=10118 (http://www.lacie.com/products/product.htm?id=10118)

so if any one is good at maths here's a question: if benny has a aprox 3TB of Pr0n (lets assume of the moving image kind) aprox how much time would it take outa your life to watch them all?

Sadly Benny has sold his entire collection to raise money for his new on-line start-up.

If you like Kauffmans work go see it

i.e. if you like "Being John Malkovich" then it's well worth it.  If you hated that movie though, you'll hate this one.

This isn't Carey the clown it's more Carey the Cable Guy/Truman Show. i.e he plays it straight.

it's not done for laughs or Jerry Lewis impersonations. Still if you can't watch Jim Carey you're going to have trouble with this film

You really should refrain from saying things like this, good buddy.  It does come across as "a tad" pompous  ;)  You keep saying things like that and one day the beleaguered proletariats will rise to smash the intellectual bourgeoisie such as "what you are" ;)

Horses for courses, my friend, horses for courses :)

I court controversy and tweak the nose of err....other stuff.

It was supposed to come across as pompous. It was a bit of a joke. That's why I posted the 'ohh the arogance' and the knowing  ;)  at the end of the post.

It's what we clever people call self depreciation, but maybe you wouldn't understand that?

Ohhh I did it again  ;)
