Title: someone knows?

K i played today on the CoFR25 server again.
And something strange happend.

We played the map italy and i was a ct and i was shooting a T but he had a skin as CT.

Has someone ever seen this before or is this a cheat no one has ever heard of etc?

It's a daft cheat. You just  copy a CT skin into the T model folder on your PC and rename it to that T model.

i.e copy the SAS skin into models\player\artic and rename it artic.mdl. Then you can run around as the artic terrorist with an SAS skin

i didn't knew what happend to me i just saw a red name dancing in my screen but i nice green (sas) model :huh:

Just ask a CoFRfella to kick him then. I haven't heard of this 1 though. Some people are just to weird, how do they come up with this stuff.

I thought the skins displayed were the ones on the client PC of the person playing.  <_<

Surely Ice would have had to have moved the skins for them to show that way on his PC (not that I think you did, just trying to understand  ;) )

Help me out here someone  :help:

yeah that is what i thought also.

But i know what i saw.

But CoFr also says that it could be something wrong with cs.

But now i know that it can be done.

Ok this does happen in WC3 as you all know but last night this did happen. As you said hawk stupid really!

there is a hack by witch you have a CT skin if your a T or a T skin if your CT.

this isnt client side this is the server telling you what skin the player is wearing.

its been around for a while, VAC usually catchs it so there must be an update for this particular hack out for it to work on servers again.

For the WC3 you can get a CT or Tcamouflage called cameleon. You'll spawn at the enemies spawn and are wearing 1 of their skins. Since CoFR is no WC3 server the last time I've checked it's a cheat then.

It could be that he transferred to the other team just as you shot him. If he did the skin changes.

I have no idea what you are all talking about. I posted nothing related to this problem. To suggest that some renaming of skins on another persons PC would appear on your own is utterly stupid, and suggesting such would make me a complete pratt of the first order. But as you can see I didn't post anything of the sort and therefore I'm not an utter berk at all. So sod off the lot of ya.

It could be worse. The number of stupid kids posting requests like "omg plz maek me an invisable marine so I can sneak arond maps and be liek leet" in modelling forums is astonishing. Not only are they stupid, but they're very openly not fair players either.
