Just ordered

Brazil
The Fisher King

directed by Terry Gilliam. Both great movies that I recommend you to watch.

Don't forget to watch 12 monkeys as well .  :)

Brazil. Now there is a cult classic. Might have to dig that out and watch it again.

Brazil is simply brilliant.  Fisher King is good, but Brazil is tops IMHO.

/me heads back off to Information Retrieval murmurming something about Robert Deniro and 'Buttle'...

The Crimson Permanent Assurance. Quite possibly the pinacle of movie excellence.

And always... Beware the Jabberwock, my son! The jaws that bite, the claws that catch!

Brazil
The Fisher King
I hate Gilliam's Brazil - the only saving grace are the Holm and Price performances.  The book that inspired it is much better.  And it has dated so badly.  A horrible mixed-up film - criticism of state has been done much better elsewhere in film.

Fisher King is good though - Gilliam at his quirky best, Robin Williams occupying that "dark side" of his acting range that makes him so compelling, and the ever-watchable Bridges.  Love the Grand Central Station scene.
