Offcourse you can. Just read the threads. It's quit easy. Download the correct program for the thing you've got, windows or linux and download and install. The teamnumber: 33597
username: DuVeL
Nice try DuVeL..... :D
Obviously the username should be [dMw]Whitey It won't work otherwise.

Ah, then you've didn't installed the latest patch did ya?
DuVeL works now aswell. Just take a look at the statspage of F@H ;)
lmao
Whitey doesnt need any help lol.
Why not try this http://forum.deadmen.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=6257 (http://forum.deadmen.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=6257)
so u can run it as a service.
Will be doing this soon, and going to make sure my work machines get some attention with a stray floppy disk ;)
and GhostMjr if you done what TL said in that other thread then it is k that you don't know it it works etc.
Just look at the progs your pc is running if you see a prog called F@H ....... then it is running already.
Check Task Manager and look at services, you should see:
- FAH4
- FAHcore_78.exe (or a similar name) using 99% or so of the cpu
If you see the above then F@H is up and running on your system. Give it 48 hours and by then you should see yourself appear on the Dead Men Folding team sheet.
Welcome aboard GhostMjr...... :D
TL.
Have just borged my work pc using the F@H as a service install :) .
When can I expect to see it dl a WU and me appearing on the dMw Folding team roster?
Go to: C:\Program Files\fah
and open the FAHlog.txt
Here you see a time and you might be able to calculate the time left.

For a machine that's on 24/7 you should normally expect to see a completed WU show on the score card about 48 hours after you started it (ie 24 hours after you completed it).

This is what is currently coming up in the FAHlog.txt file:
[14:34:02] - Couldn't send HTTP request to server
[14:34:02] + Could not connect to Primary Assignment Server for ID
[14:34:23] - Couldn't send HTTP request to server
[14:34:23] + Could not connect to Secondary Assignment Server for ID
[14:34:23]
+ Could not get ID from server. Retrying...
Anybody got any ideas? We do have a proxy server and I'm currently checking to make sure port 8080 is open (if it isn't can I alter the port that FAH uses?
I've also had to mark the client.cfg file as read-only because it kept getting overwritten, is this normal?
I'm confused, it all seemed like a good idea at the time

Cheers, TL
Change it to port 80, but it's strang eif it has downloaded a WU and then can;t get it back... /shrugs
