Does exactly what it says in the subject line.

Admin Standards
PREFACE
This document provides the standards of conduct that all Admins of MeatHook PCS must adhere to. It's intent is to provide common conduct between the players and the Admins. Violations of these standards may result in removal of an Admin's access to in-server commands. We would like to thank N42 for writing the original Admin & Player Standards that we have adapted for use here at MeatHook PCS.
1. Language
Admins should hold a professional level of conduct at all time. Please keep your language in the forums and on the server at a professional and mature level. If we sink to vulgarity and namecalling the players will see it and follow suit. What is acceptable for YOU to do is acceptable for them to do.
2. Warnings
Warnings must be given before ANY other form of punishment for ANY player who is violating the rules or overall code of conduct for MEATHOOK PCS. Warnings should not be given without FULL understanding of the events that occured. You must personally have VISUAL confirmation that a rule has been violated or proper conduct has not been followed. If possible, have another Admin confirm the event before issuing a warning.
First warnings must be given via the "Admin_tsay" command and should be issued YELLOW in color. The full command for this is:
"Admin_tsay yellow" (followed by the warning message.)
Second warnings must be given via the "Admin_tsay" command and should be issues RED in colour. The full command for this is:
"Admin_tsay red" (followed by the warning message.)
3. PCS Development
All Admins should have a good and current understanding of both map limits and PCS rules. Admins should endeavour to develop other player’s understanding of the MeatHook PCS style of play for the benefit of all players.
MeatHook PCS is a gaming community and members will have had a diverse range of prior CounterStrike experience. Admins should try to actively welcome and assist new or less experienced players to adapt to the objective and team based style of play on MeatHook PCS. This will benefit all MeatHook PCS players.
4. Player Kicks
In order for a player to be kicked they MUST have been given first and second warnings as outlined in paragraph 2. If a player is allowed two warnings without being kicked, a third warning MUST be issued in red before the player is kicked.
When the kick command is used, a reason and Admin name must be entered to justify the kick and also to notify the player when they are dropped to console. An example of this would be:
"Admin_kick Player Continued rushing after 2 warnings. (OldBloke)".
When a player is kicked, the Admin MUST follow up with a post in the Admins forums under a topic named after the player. If an existing topic exists, append the new kick information to that topic. This will allow all Admins to understand what is happening with each of the players. The follow-up post may be done when you are finished playing and does not need to be done immediately. These posts should not be based on personal judgements, merely the facts that led up to the kick.
5. Player Bans
In order for a player to be banned, they must have a history of rules violations. In-game bans should NEVER be issued for more than 24 hours (1440 minutes) on any player. Any bans put in place longer than that must be voted upon by all Admins.
Bans may be applied immediately for any player who is CONFIRMED with cheats on their system. Confirmation consists ONLY of a message displayed by the currently operating Anti-Cheat software or player actions confirmed IN-GAME by at least two Admins.
6. Map Changes
Some map changes will have to be made dependant on the number of players in the server at that time. In this case a map vote should be issued to allow the change. However, maps should not be changed by an Admin simply because they don't like them. If a map is encountered that people do NOT want to play, issue a "nextmap" command to find the next map in rotation and create an "Admin_vote_map" for that map. This will keep the rotation in order and allow all maps to be played.
7. Forums
Admins are not to participate in forum-based flame wars. You are expected to set the standards for MEATHOOK PCS players. If you set a standard of engaging in flame wars then others will assume it's acceptable when it clearly isn't.
Ok, first stupid question - does e.g. admin tsay yellow actually work on our server? I wrote these before I had been introduced to any admin stuff so just assumed that it was standard. Anyone?
TL. 8)
Number 1. i think we have all broken this one from time to time but i see it as having fun on the forums and generally taking the piss out of someone....is this not going to be allowed from now on? as it is one of my best pastimes :D
Wasnt meaning the swearing that should be kept to a minimum (in real life i swear lots so i need to curb it on here and in real life aswell)
tsay yellow does work.
Changes I'd propose would be to change the order around so that the heavy stuff (kicking/banning) comes at the end after all the helpful happy stuff. The order I had in mind would be :
1, 3, 6, 7, 2, 4 then 5.
This bit from 4 doesn't make a lot of sense:
QuoteIn order for a player to be kicked they MUST have been given first and second warnings as outlined in paragraph 2. If a player is allowed two warnings without being kicked, a third warning MUST be issued in red before the player is kicked.
The second sentance isn't needed. Why warn someone a third time? They'll see why they were kicked by looking at the kick message in the console.
I also feel that there's a missing scenario. What do you do with a kicked player immediately returning to the server? My view is ..
1. He asks why he was kicked, he's told, he starts playing properly - no action.
2. He resumes his poor play/becomes abusive - 24hr ban.
That's my 2p.

Admin Standards
PREFACE

The only exception to this is if the number of players on the server does not suit the nextmap. In this situation, Admins may use their judgement to select a map more appropriate for the number of players on the server and better gameplay. Preferrably, the chosen map should be the next suitable map in the rotation list.
4. Forums
Admins are not to participate in forum-based flame wars. You are expected to set the standards for MEATHOOK PCS players. If you set a standard of engaging in flame wars then others will assume it's acceptable when it clearly isn't.
5. Warnings

Warnings should not be given without FULL understanding of the events that occured. You must personally have VISUAL confirmation that a rule has been violated or proper conduct has not been followed before a punishment is issued. If possible, have another Admin confirm the event before issuing a warning.
Warnings must be given onscreen for all players to see.
6. Player Kicks
In order for a player to be kicked they MUST have been given first and second warnings as outlined in paragraph 2.
When the kick command is used, a reason and Admin name must be entered to justify the kick and also to notify the player when they are dropped to console. An example of this would be:

A player who has been kicked from the server and immediately returns to the server must be advised of the reason for being kicked. If he then starts adhering to the PCS rules then no further action will be yaken. If he resumes his poor play or becomes abusive then he should be banned for 24 hours and kicked from the server immediately.
Bans may be applied immediately for any player who is CONFIRMED with cheats on their system. Confirmation consists ONLY of a message displayed by the currently operating Anti-Cheat software or player actions confirmed IN-GAME by at least two Admins.
All Bans issued must be recorded in the appropriate section of the Admins Forum.
OK so this is the Admin Standards page, again apologies for forgetting to do this stuff  You have a couple of hours and then it will be posted.
