Got home last night about 10pm to find a lovely present for me...
Someone had uprooted a number of plants in my small front garden, thrown them about and smeared soil over my living room window.
There is also soil deposited all over front garden, and because its gravel'd, its a very hard to clean..
It took me about 4 days of hard working to put in a fence and graveling the front, then a number of weekends where spent planting stuff in pots/baskets.
Perhaps spent about 500£ and a good 6 days work for someone to come along and spoil it in minutes.
my belief in ppl grows ever smaller.

We were sitting in our lounge one night when a car stopped, a guy got out, leaned over the fence, uprooted one of our small trees, stuck it in his car and drove off!
So nothing people do nowadays surprises me (sadly :()

Did any of your neighbour's see anything? Or, would any of your neighbours be so envious of your handiwork as to want to do that?
Kids on mopeds used to ride in and out of my neighbours drive......until he hid, slammed the gate on one, gave him a shoeing and sent him on his way.

lol that reminds me, last week someone stole the flap on my letter box.
and i forgot to add that some of the gravel was posted through the letter box last night :|
its probably the kids round here. Unfortuanly im not a big bloke or scary so if i tried to give anyone a kicking it would probably back fire when they brough over there mates.
now where was that bat....
ah well, im glad we have no intentions of staying here too long :)
Thats rough sorry to hear that.
We to had problems with the local little darlings where i used to live but fortunately I am big and scarey and have even bigger and scarier mates. The very quickly learnt right from wrong. And its amazing how popular I suddenly became with the neighbours!! :D
It's a small consolation but....
Your local thugs probably are still at school. Of course they are making the same mess of their education as they are of your garden. From school they'll be dumped into some mindless low paying job or just straight onto the dole. Their basic stupidity will effect their whole lives. They'll marry the first equally dim girl they knock up and live a squalid and pointless life in some council dive. They'll amount to nothing, achieve nothing, become nothing and their lives will be worth nothing. The rich wonders of our world will pass them by.
And when finally they end up gasping their last breath out on a grimy trolley, shoved down a side corridor in some run down inner city hospital, all they'll have is their regrets. And they might just remember the day they ripped up you garden and wonder why they didn't better spend their time getting educated. It's a consoling though I think ;)
Seriously though you should report it to the police. They might catch them doing likewise somewhere else. The more offences they can pin on them the greater the punishment (which sadly won't be much) the courts will dole out. But it all counts.

And the sad fact is that we all end up having to pay for the mouth-breathing wastes of space, as they continue to knock up their dim bird and live off the child benefit. Thus perpetuating more legions of the non-aspiring garden-wrecking little blighters...
Very true, and in an ideal world we'd be able to do something about it and change these muppets into useful people. The fact that they will almost certainly waste their lives and be left only with regrets and missed opportunities was offered as a consolation to Jamoe.
Personally I'd just lock them in a room with some hulking great shaven headed neanderthal, someone like...... er me actually :unsure:
report it to the cops, and then implement some home-defenses. barbed wire? perhaps wired to some sort of hig voltage, low current setup. trail it in-amongst the flowers :yes: put a motion-sensitive webcam on it so that we can all laugh at them getting shocked :D
on the driveway front - you've seen those things they put in petrol stations to pop your tires if you try to leave without paying? those would be fun to have too :devil:

Indeed. I didn't mean to detract from the conciliatory nature of your post. It just struck a chord with one of my pet gripes, the red mist descended, and I needed to vent.

It's touching to see such faith in the constabulary. They're too busy nicking motorists. Much easier to make the charges stick and they don't answer back!
Dam kids... Get a dog m8 a bloody vicious one at that :D . ANd if it kills one of them its the dogs fault. We keep getting kids over here on those dam moped's reving etc till i ran out there with my dad's bid sword :D. They drove off quickly :lol: .
Get a kid torn to bits by a dog, impale them on spikes, cut them to ribbons on barbed wire or electrocute them with some elaborate personal defence system and you'll see how quick the police work! You'll be in nick before you know it. And then their parents will sue you for damaging their little angels. Justice eh ;)

We live on a close next to a main road on a steep hill where the stupid kids go to the top on their skateboards and lie on them and shoot down the hill on their backs. Absolutely no regard for any of the people trying to drive UP the hill, they just shoot down and i've seen the cars trying to swerve out of the way!
I'm just waiting for one of them to go under a car, bet they don't do it again then!
On the other hand, you could move to the countryside with few neighbours, running over the little tossers on your way out. :D

buy an airsoft gun! and throw grenades at them that will scare the blighters away! First time i saw GFK i thought he looked like a us army soldier (the haircut mainly) so thts why the neighbours all like him so they don't wanna mess with him ;)
