I am getting loads of arbitrary errors with CS1.6 From "server is forcing model consistancy" messages for models that I do not have in my models folder to "Host_Error: CL_Parseserver Message: Bad server message".
I have been able to connect to Homer a couple of times but that has started giving model errors now. Meathook ditches me after about 10 seconds with any on of many marvellous messages most of which start with "Host Error". Have looked up messages here (http://www.ninja-association.org.uk/csfaq/) but nothing seems to help.
Deletions and rebuilds have made no difference so unless anyone has smart ideas I am a bit stuck :(
weird - reinstalls didn't fix it. exit and logout of steam did!!!!!!!
im going to bed :(
cs works in msyterious ways <_<
mayb the cs server u dl the patches from is faulty! email steam they will get back to u depends on their work load tho. Try and delete the main folder after uninstallation as a file left on your computer could be corrupting the installation! good luck with it anyway ;)

That's what I was getting after I updated my Linksys router to the latest firmware. I dropped back to an earlier drop of sw and all was well.
Well actually, I ditched the Linksys for this. (http://www.ebuyer.com/customer/products/index.html?rb=940835958&action=c2hvd19wcm9kdWN0X292ZXJ2aWV3&product_uid=48546)
Cant go wrong with Netgear OB. ;)
