Post by: GhostMjr on August 02, 2004, 05:26:11 PM
Ok this has been a serious issue on the server and today i tried it with my speakers up loud. omfg there is so much feedback tl was right! So to cut a long story short i tried a different microphone and the same happened! So i think it is the soundcard! What is a good soundcard! A mid to top of the range would be fine budget about £60! creative audigy 2 any good?

Cheers

Do you have an onboard soundcard on your mobo? If so try it.

you play with speakers as opposed to headphones and your'e wondering why you get feedback through the microphone...? Or have I mis-interpreted the situation?

A SoundBlaster 5.1 Live is perfectly sufficient for CS and should be about £25.

To be honoust, my boxes are never on, I only play with the headset so maybe it´s your headset messing up with your boxes I think. Try it and get back on it.
