I thought it would help to set out a thread to make sure any Twin peeps get partnered up.  You fellas may have already sorted this, so apologies if it is unecessary.  

From the main LAN VI thread, here are the peeps who are booked into twin rooms:

Already Sharing:

If I have missed anybody who has a twin room then please post here so that we can make sure some poor sod doesn't end up paying full price for the luxury of having a twin room to themselves.

Well I make that 7 twin rooms already booked and shared.  

As the Oliver Cromwell only has 8 twin rooms, then I reckon that DarkAngel & Chimpboy are either sharing already, or have been booked into the same twin room and don't yet know it.

When you say 'he has already been sorted', what exactly do you mean?  He posted he was in a twin and I have not seen another post to the contrary.  Has he moved into a double now leaving you solo in the last twin?

Well I think that some peeps are in for a pleasant surprise, after reading this post I was left a little confused as I thought that I had booked two twins, so after a quick call to the OC just to check I can now confirm that Zok and Brass have a twin as do Waster and Poley. I sense that some new relationships will be struck up at this LAN and suggest that LAN VI shall now be known as the Lan of Love. :wub:  :rumpy:  :wub:

There are only 8 twin rooms so far as I know, so you may have to book a double.  Book NOW as there are not that many rooms left at the Cromwell.

Just gave them a ring apparantly they have put me in a double? But they say there are some people in a twin by themself, so maybe i can get one of their beds and cancel my double? And btw they still have rooms left...

Fellas - I know that the comedy value is worth it, but they only have 8 twin rooms and we have 18 people booked into those 16 beds.  You do the math.  If I were allegedly booked into a twin I'd be calling the hotel to check RealSoonNow™

OK, for the avoidance of doubt I called the Hotel.  The following people are booked into the only 8 twin rooms that the hotel has:

1. G Marshall + SPARE PLACE
2. Valour (needs to call hotel to give address for confirmation letter) + SPARE PLACE
3. A Steels + J Steels
4. Porter + Wiseman
5. Scott Ferguson + SPARE PLACE
6. Richards + SPARE PLACE
7. Hunter + Williams
8 Squires + SPARE PLACE

If your name is not on the list then you have booked a double room and will pay for it by yourself.  If you have booked a twin room and do not share you will pay for the whole room by yourself.

Sort it out fellas.  Call the hotel and get yourself into one of those rooms.

Which room Benny is in is tricky - I have assumed Greg = G Townsend.  But I still don;t know if the hotel are aware that Benny is in that same room. :rolleyes:  Benny said on the server last night that he would call them to confirm so hopefully it will all work out.

Sorry for the tardy reply

I sorted myself out in a double before DA pm'd me.  Sorry for the confusion.

I assume I'll pick up the confirmation letter from the OC when I return to blightey from the land of smug athletes.  If i see one more feckin program about their feckin swim team I swear I'll feckin put my foot through the feckin tv.  Never known anything like it  :angry:  Feckin bacwards colonies with TANGO all else going for them ;)

I'm Greg with no 'i' and am booked into a double room. So it's just me and a huge hotel bill!

Benny is with Greig with an 'i'. I assume that's Albert. That,or they have a double and plan to make Man Love all weekend?

Even though I'm not going, I can work this one out.  Using the info here (http://www.deadmen.co.uk/clan_roster.asp), it looks like:

Valour ~= Vella - so that's Sheepy & JB.

Richards = OB & Frenzy.

So DA - looks like you're in for an expensive weekend fella, unless you can convince somebody to take you on as their gimp and let you sleep in their wardrobe for favours :whistle:

As I am going over to the hotel today with Smite & Squonk to do the pre-LAN reccie to plan the seating, cable runs and hopeful internet access, I thought I would also try to confirm with them the accomodation side of things.  From the above the final list of twin rooms is as follows:

1. G Marshall + Benny
2. Valour & JB (Sheepy needs to call hotel to give address for confirmation letter)
3. A Steels + J Steels
4. Porter + Wiseman
5. Scott Ferguson + P Timmerman
6. Richards + Richards
7. Hunter + Williams
8 Squires + Pole

Sheepy, you need to call hotel to give them your address for the confirmation letter.  The letter actually arrived with me!
