Sounds nice at the drooling level, but in all seriousness, when are there going to be programs that fully utilise what is available already?  How many packages available today can use AGP4 for example?  And how long has AGP4 been out?  Look forward to a game release in 4Q2003 that will use less than half of the available feature set from the new nvidia chip.

When I bought my first pc 2-3 years ago, a just below top ninja machine 300mhz P2 I thought 'that'll see me for quite some time.'. Now my graphics card is more powerful! I've been playing Grim Fandango recently(alright, alright!) and at the time it came out was graphically last word. Now it looks like Lego. So give it 20 minutes and there will be stuff, you can count on it.

I think. :)

Well, I am not trusting NVidia any more. Sure they will release their GeForce5 ready enough for X-mas and release GF6 in February and you have blown your money on a card that is half as good than you could have got for the same money 3 months later. They have done it many times before (just remember GF3 and GF4 last X-mas) and I am sure they are up to the same thing again.

The specs are great and the graphics are stunning but there are no new games that need that kind of engine. UT2003 looks great on a GF3, but the game isn't as fun as the old UT was. Graphics isn't everything. Look at us. We play CS for the fun of it not the graphics.

It's just so people can say "Mine is better than yours" :)

Thats it. Why do people buy luxury cars, when a rusty old p.o.s. (like mine) will get you to the same place in the same time?

The thing is, 500MHz, where did we hear that figure before.... oh I remember, when intel we releaseing new chips increasing the speed by 50 MHz at a time and adding £100 to the price each time. I wish the bastages would just hold back for 6 months and come out with something significantly better. And half the price, and easy to get hold of and with more games for it

Bag 'o' Shite if you ask me. I just got a GEF 3Ti 200 and it's more than enough for UT2003 by miles. Even BF1942 at full all singing all dancing setting works like a treat. CS just runs like it did on my 8MB non-3D card, but at 100FPS.
