It doesn't show in HLSW or indeed any of the game browsers except, i'm informed, Qstat.

You can't add it to your favs and it rarely appears in the 'big' list of servers.

Just connect to it from console. :)

However, I've noticed from the Steam forums that these beta servers will crash if they are bombarded with connection attempts. I am going to password the server shortly to make sure that we are not affected by this.

Yep I got in no problem at all. Bit laggy but then I'm still updating Deleted Scenes and I've yet to settle on a graphic set up.

Couldn't seem to get Rcon working. There are too many people just wandering around the map looking at the scenery. A few slaps would have done the job. Still early days  :)

its in my fav's but there is no name for it, no players in it and the ping is 0 plus i cannot connect?

Choose the internet section of find servers ,then keep refreshing it untill dmw cs : s shows up (its near the top if sorted by ping)

You have to do this within cs: s not from steam on your task bar.

Server had crashed. Don't know when. The error points to the known problem of servers crashing out due to multiple 'join' attempts.

VALVe are promising a fix within a couple of days.

Err, this may be a stupid question, but how do you get the consol up to run the connect command?  :huh:
All I get it the options screen, find server, create server, report bug, video stress test, options and quit !!  :(

I shocked myself and managed to get on to the server.


Then some nonce was running around with an AWP so I left.

Don't forget you can add parameters by selecting properties from the game menu. From there you can add:

 -console 1

This will start the game with the console active, ready for you to type in our IP  :)

Nope. CPU usage had gone to 96% by this morning.

Think this might have been fixed in latest update - will keep everyone posted. Server is ONLINE at present :)

Looks like CPU usage problem has been fixed for SRCDS under Windows. Haven't had to reboot mine since I started it a few days ago.

OB! You wanna kick the dMw CS:S server into life again?

I killed it last night as we were experiencing loss and choke on Razer which, spookily enough, disappeared after the CS:S server was killed off. Go figure  <_<
