Title: Tournament Maps
Post by: TeaLeaf on August 21, 2004, 03:13:58 PM
The tournament will use a fixed rotation of maps.
Each team will be playing 4 matches (as set out in the tournament structure thread).

Match1: de_bahrain
Match2: de_dust2002
Match3: de_arizona
Match4: de_dust4ever

Please make sure you have these maps loaded and working prior to the tournament.

and me. It is failing to find the text file associated with the map (for whatever reason).

Here are links to individual maps if needed. I have tested them and they are same versions as server:

de_arizona (http://cs.tehnicom.net/maps/de/de_arizona.zip)

de_bahrain (http://cs.tehnicom.net/maps/de/de_bahrain.zip)

de_dust4ever (http://cs.tehnicom.net/maps/de/de_dust4ever.zip)

de_dust2002 (http://cs.tehnicom.net/maps/de/de_dust2002.zip)

HTH?

I know. Weird  <_<

Is the text file listed in the RES file? It shouldn't have to be IIRC or then again maybe it should <- Confused

Nope.  That map doesn't need a res file.

I know that de_dust4ever does not come with a RES file so I ran RESGEN against the de_dust4ever map and the RES file it created did not include the txt file!

Here (http://www.sutherlandweb.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/dmw/de_dust4ever.res) is the RES file but I have added the text file to it. Do you want to try that on our server to see if it fixes the problem? You'll need to right click and "save as"

Stop whinging and get on with it.  :bitch:

Sheesh, any more whining and I'll slit the skin between each of your toes with a scalpel and then dip your feet into a bowl of tabasco sauce. :norty:

The map has a good history of TCS play, it ran a long and productive cycle on N42 and it survived many nub attacks from peeps like you.  The advantage is nullified as you play as both T and CT.  If you do not take advantage of the maps given then it is your own fault.

Tournament maps have been uploaded to xtpc servers, just incase any squads need some quiet time with there own squad for taccys and that. ;)

Each squad has atleast one xtpc admin so feel free to password it so you have no interruptions from the opposition. :) Couple of things I ask:

Remeber to unpassword it when ya finished: <_<

Please inform pubbers that server will be locked 10 mins before hand.

Nearly forgot, thanks squonk for uploading maps,Whenever I ftp to server it tends to break.
