The LAN Admins have considered a number of options, but concluded that the following games will be officially supported with servers etc at LAN VI:Playing these games is not compulsory and we are positive there will be other games also running at various times durign the LAN.  However these are the games on which we will try to structure the LAN's few competitions etc.  Not all games will have competitions, in fact only the minority will, the rest will just be for fun.

As hl2 preload has begun i hope hl2 will be ready for lan VI will it now be considered by the admins for and official lan game?

I know how you can use it as a multiplayer. We take GMJR's CD from HalfLife and use it as a frisbee.  ;)

CS:S is suppsoed to be available with hl2. I've read somewhere that it is multiplayer part/half of hl2.

but no point worrying about it unless its released befor the LAN.


is ther an unofficial list of games ppl will want to play? I will probably buy bf1942 , but are there any others i imight want :)

HL1 may have had multiplayer but as this is a totally new game they may have decided not to include it. These are really questions you should be asking Valve.

thanks all, ive been trying bloody hard to convince my misses that im gonna be perfectly safe at the LAN and none of you lot are mad psychopaths....

if only i had checked she wasnt looking over my sholder when i read these forums  :(

Is my misses the only one thats nervous about me spending the weekend with 44 strangers (she doesnt get internet communities, she relates it all to wierdos hanging out in yahoo chat channels etc)   :sigh:

You could always ask her to come  :lol:

Tell her she can make great use of the Spa, swimming Pool, treatments etc etc while you game ..... it's a win-win.
