the story;
I was in accounts office talking about some bill that needed sorting and I left the room to find a fking chav/pikey walking about the corridor. Starts dribbling on about some old tractor thats on the premises and wants to know if they can have it for scrap. Im like wtf, i dont know shit and walk towrds the exit with the tramp. He trys to show me this scrap crap metal stuff thats at other end of our site and i basically say "ill find out". Anyway, his mate whos sitting in the white transit van ask the same question saying that they are in area "cleaning up" (fking tramps i hate them). Anyway i go to find my boss but they drive off. (dont know why but i didnt suspect anything at the time)
I tell my boss weve had gypsies on the premises and that we might need to take some precautions with backsups and security tonight etc.
Im about to go over to another site to support some noob with a web application and i go to get my phone. AHHHH whers my phone gone. AAAAAHHHHHH wheres my wallet gone. Both were on my desk and the last time i saw them was befor i went to see the accounts girl. (Office next door to each other) My only conclusions is that this pikey stole them as he spoke to me outside my office and my door was open. Fking tramps I hate them. (It could well have been someone at work but i very much doupt that). Sadly i didnt hear anything as we have had end of year accounts thing going and the printers are buzzing none stop.
Anyway I've spen a fantatistic morning making statements, cancelling cards and barring my phone. (which was only a month old and no insurance) Theres a shit load of IT stuff in here, laptops, PCs, printers scanners very expensive digital camera. Ill be taking some stuff home tonight incase they decide to come back. (We have good alarm system and doubleglasing, all fenced off etc. but since when did that stop the theiveing c&%s)
Did i ever mention i hate those bastards. Chance are they wont get caught. I didnt really take a good look at them. I mean they smell and look dirty and that kind of blurs the whole description thing.
Anyway, moral is stay alert and if you ever get dodgy ppl on your premises take note of details like van reg numbers etc. And dont leave wallets phones in plain site.
p.s. apologies if i offend anyone with bad language etc. Just ranting.

It's a good thing that gypsies are the only ethnic minority you can still slag off like that and get away with it. ;) Personally I think you're being a bit hard on them. They're only trying to make a living after all. :D

Actually you can't Doorman. Romany gypsies are a destinct race of people. The same anti-racism laws apply to them as to any other ethnic group.
That being said Pikeys are not Gypsies. It's a generic term for travellers. (definition) (http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=pikey&r=f)
So it's OK to hate Pikeys but not gypsies

I dont know the political name for these travelling theives but they are the few grouping of ppl i will always steer clear off. Had a fair few meetings with them in the past. Cause nothing but greif in the end. There maywell be a few honest travellers but how often do you see that and is it worth the risk.
I'll get over having these bits stolen its just the fact ive had to waste my time sorting it out. Anyway, its increased the security here now, we are having those mechanicaly door locks installed. The ones with the punch buttons.

I hate Pikeys too, and there's nothing you can do about it.
They're dirty scum, and don't actually own houses so you can never track them down. Plus, do anything to them to get your own back, and they'll come back at you 20 fold. Only difference is they'll kill ya sooner than look at ya.
